Winter Is Here, Holly's First Year And Some Stitching Too

Wow time has really flown!  I can't believe that its been so long since I last posted.  I have been stitching on Prairie Schooler Christmas Village, I was having problems and had ripped out little trees it seemed like a million trees, just to find out the border was what was off!!  Ripped trees for no reason other than one that the border had the placement for the tree in the wrong place......... As you can see I have made a little progress.

Finished an ornament too, now all I have to do is really finish it! LOL  Not my favorite part:)) The ornament was stitched on a Silkweaver fabric that my friend Ruthie sent to me.  It didn't say what the color was but it's 28 count and the picture isn't doing it justice.

Yesterday was Holly's first year with us, it has been a fun year she it a great little cat.  She loves to be held but like all cats wants her alone time too.  If you stop and think about it cats are sort of like people we need to have quiet times too. I took this picture of her this morning and had a hard time getting her to look at me.  Birds on the feeder are a lot more interesting aren't they? LOL

Your ornament came out wonderful! Sometimes it is hard to capture Silkweaver's colors. Holly is adorable!

Nice stitching, Mary.

You got quite a bit of snow for the first of the season! We've had two snows so far and not much accumulation. That's about to change, though. We're due for a "good" snow (bleah) starting Sunday night.

She's a cutie. I have 3 tuxedo's: Sylvester (we rescued him a year ago), Scooter (Pie) and (Princess) Buttons - just babies (about 4 months old) - we brought in from our outdoor cats that adopted us.
