Hello Everyone, Well here we are at the end almost of another year. 2013 has been Okay for us but a few bumps in the road. DH has been sick off and on, mainly kidney stones......But he now has a new doctor and so far he seems to be better.
We spent our day at Turkey Run State Park Inn for our Christmas meal. I just have the one picture of the Inn, we were going to get some others of the area but it was just too darn cold. After we left there we went and spent the late afternoon with our neighbors. They gave us some really nice gifts, Ann made some granola, blue cheese salad dressing (you can't beat homemade on that one) also homemade fruitcake which is really good too. The bad part is I HAVE to be the one that eats this because DH won't eat this sort of thing. But I will make the sacrifice ....LOL
Stitching wise I have gotten quite a bit done on my Prairie Schooler Christmas Village, at least I think I have?? I am putting it aside right now and going to go back and finish a sampler that was a freebie on a French site. No picture as of yet of it I am waiting on the floss to start a picture of paint horses for our groomer. I have plans to give it to her for next Christmas. We will see........

Your Prairie Schooler piece is coming along nicely. The Inn at Turkey Run State Park looks very nice. Is that in Indiana? We are always thinking of new places in the Midwest to visit.
Happy New Year to you and Robert. The Inn seems like a lovely place. Love your Christmas Village. Looking forward to your first 2014 post. Ruthie
