Hello Everyone I stitched this a long time ago and I am trying to find this ornament hangers that I stitched this on.  It was from Jeremiah Junction, great for me I am not much for finish work but to me this is just perfect.  Do any of you make this sort of thing?  I am willing to pay.

Post after Almost A Year

Hello Everyone, I can't believe that it has been a year since I posted.  I have had the large sampler done for quite some time but just finally got around to washing and pressing it.  I took the pictures with my cell phone and neither one is that great.  I need batteries for my camera and I will try and get better pictures.  the first sampler is the Brenda Keys sampler that I mentioned in my last post.  The next one is a Lila Studio and my current project.  I also noticed that poor old Tip our outdoor cat didn't have a picture on my blog and that isn't quite fair is it?  He is such a pretty cat, at least I think so.. I am planning on doing something small before I get into the next large project.

Finally Finished

Hello Everyone, I have finally finished my Prairie Schooler Garden Gate Sampler from Book Number 45.  It was fun to stitch and went fast. I did this for a friend that has cancer now all I have to do is get it framed.  Now I have moved onto a Brenda Scott Keyes House On The Hill Sampler.  This one is really going to take some time because it is quiet large, here is a picture of it from her site Brenda Keys I love all of her charts and can't decide which one I like the best??;) For my next sampler.

Hope you all are having a good Memorial Day and please thank a veteran today.  I thank my DH he is retired Air Force.

Long Long Winter.............

Hello Everyone, Well for me it has been a long long winter and finally it seems as if we're finally having some spring weather, which is good because it has been really getting me down.  Very windy the last 2 days here but at least warm:)  I have been doing some stitching, first I stitched a sampler, it was a free chart that can be found here The Way To Happiness I did make some changes, at the top there is supposed to be back stitching between the butterflies, but I just didn't like the way it was coming out.  I also changed some of the colors of the floss in the lettering, the floss called for wasn't working on the lambswool fabric. Then I stitched a LHN Sheep Virtue I know I have been slow in my stitching but it has picked up now, I'm working on another sampler from Prairie Schooler Garden Samplers book number 45 it's an OOP chart that I have had for quite sometime.  At the moment not much to see but will post a picture of it soon, I will not let as much time go by as I have since my last post.

Almost A New Year

Hello Everyone, Well here we are at the end almost of another year.  2013 has been Okay for us but a few bumps in the road.  DH has been sick off and on, mainly kidney stones......But he now has a new doctor and so far he seems to be better.

We spent our day at Turkey Run State Park Inn for our Christmas meal.  I just have the one picture of the Inn, we were going to get some others of the area but it was just too darn cold.  After we left there we went and spent the late afternoon with our neighbors.  They gave us some really nice gifts, Ann made some granola, blue cheese salad dressing  (you can't beat homemade on that one) also homemade fruitcake which is really good too.  The bad part is I HAVE to be the one that eats this because DH won't eat this sort of thing.  But I will make the sacrifice ....LOL

Stitching wise I have gotten quite a bit done on my Prairie Schooler Christmas Village, at least I think I have??  I am putting it aside right now and going to go back and finish a sampler that was a freebie on a French site.  No picture as of yet of it I am waiting on the floss to start a picture of paint horses for our groomer.  I have plans to give it to her for next Christmas.  We will see........

Winter Is Here, Holly's First Year And Some Stitching Too

Wow time has really flown!  I can't believe that its been so long since I last posted.  I have been stitching on Prairie Schooler Christmas Village, I was having problems and had ripped out little trees it seemed like a million trees, just to find out the border was what was off!!  Ripped trees for no reason other than one that the border had the placement for the tree in the wrong place......... As you can see I have made a little progress.

Finished an ornament too, now all I have to do is really finish it! LOL  Not my favorite part:)) The ornament was stitched on a Silkweaver fabric that my friend Ruthie sent to me.  It didn't say what the color was but it's 28 count and the picture isn't doing it justice.

Yesterday was Holly's first year with us, it has been a fun year she it a great little cat.  She loves to be held but like all cats wants her alone time too.  If you stop and think about it cats are sort of like people we need to have quiet times too. I took this picture of her this morning and had a hard time getting her to look at me.  Birds on the feeder are a lot more interesting aren't they? LOL
