Fall Is Really Here Plus A Stitching Update

Hello Everyone,

Well today our temperatures are finally in the 30's at night and 40's Fahrenheit during the day, we have had to have a fire in the mornings.  Robert cut wood on Monday, Columbus Day for our winter fires, I hate the thought of it.  We heat with wood and it certainly is warm but the older we get the harder it is to get the wood in.  We have been having fun with our new little dog Daughty, yes that is the way her name is spelled but we call her Dot.  She is getting along pretty well with our cat Holly and Tip our other cat is tolerating her he just gives us a look like well if I must.....

I made a pumpkin biscornu for a Holloween exchange, it was a fun stitch and my exchange partner, Jennifer says she really likes it:) This chart came from http://theflossbox.com

Leave it to me I forgot to add in a picture of what I got in the exchange.  This was stitched by my friend Vicky and I just love it!

This is what I stitched for my Blogaverseary winner Minnie.  It's
from Prairie Schooler.  I had to make some changes because the original wouldn't fit the bookmark.

Great stitching!

My parents heat with wood, too. Now that they're getting older, they also have a harder time cutting it and bringing it in.

Nice projects you stitched up.
