Blog Moderation

Hello Everyone I had a nasty comment on my blog and they told me I had sent something unwanted but they didn't post their name so no way I would know who they were.  So I have changed my setting to moderate comments.  Sorry for this and I didn't send the email to this person.  I did receive it but didn't forward it.  Wish people if they send something like what was posted would be brave enough to reply with their name!  Sorry I have had to do this.

I have changed mine as well! I had an overzealous person take issue wtih something. I am not going to put up with that so Moderation went on! I really like it. I feel sad I have to use it but hey this is the internet!

That always sucks when someone has the gawl to be nasty but not the balls to admit who they are. I've had my blog on moderated since I started it.

That is a shame that people have to be jerks. I guess they have nothing better to do.

I think anyone who blogs is better off keeping comments on moderation status. It just prevents what happened to you. Yes, it is a little extra work, but, in the long run, you'll feel better nipping these things in the bud. Thank goodness it doesn't happen very often.

It's absolutely essential to choose the setting that requires comments to be reviewed by blog owner before they are posted. I receive really disgusting comments in my soap blog from time to time, of course always anonymous...And in my 'general' blog someone (maybe it's sort of automated) seems to have taken just one of my posting as a spam support...They try to place comments there about this or that product, but of course I won't allow it.
